Kamonyi Pumas v Resilience
Resilience left home at 3am in order to travel to Kamonyi. They were joined by Brother Robert, former principal at TTC Mururu who had been instrumental in establishing rugby at TTC Mururu and the development of Resilience the team that developed from this school side. Robert has continued to support the sport whenever he can and always likes to watch the boys playing when he is around. (Pictured below in the blue shirt)
It was another tough game for Resilience with the score the same as the previous week.
Congratulations to them for the win - 15-10.

Resilience V Muhanga Thunders
Rusizi is a long way from all of the other teams in the national league so whenever the team plays it will involve a long journey for one of the sides. For this match the team from Muhanga were ready to leave at 3am (but due to driver issues they actually left at 4am travelling to Rusizi)
The match was played on the grounds of TTC Mururu which is where rugby first started in Rusizi and some of the team are ex and current TTC students.
A big thankyou to the principal of the TTC Brother Augustin for allowing the team to use the ground and also for supporting the game and watching the match.
It was a very tough game and both teams played hard and very competitively.
Resilience scored first with a try but no conversion. The try was scored by Frederick Ngamijumuremyi.
Muhanga was awarded a penalty.
A second try by Ufitimfura Donatien (unconverted) brought the score to 10-3.
Just before half time Muhanga scored a try and successfully kicked the conversion so the half time score was 10-10.
The second half was very heated with both teams playing well.
After an exciting period of play right on the try line Muvunyu Mathieu the referee awarded a try to Resilience scored by Sam Nirere which proved to be the winning points.
Final score Resilience 15 Muhanga 10
Man of the match was Frederick from Resilience and his cap was presented by Brother Augustin, Principal of TTC Mururu
